PitchAssist ("we," "us," or "our") is a youth soccer coaching application developed and operated by Steinke Labs. Our app helps coaches build and optimize player rotation schedules. You can reach us at pitchassist.app@gmail.com.
PitchAssist is designed for and intended to be used by adults — specifically soccer coaches and team administrators. If you are under 18, please do not use this app without the involvement of a parent or guardian.
Account information: When you sign in with Apple, Google, or email/password, we receive your name and email address from your authentication provider. We use this solely to identify your account.
Team and roster data: You may enter player first names, positions, skill ratings, and other coaching notes. This data is entered by you (the coach) and stored in your account on Firebase/Firestore.
Usage data: Firebase may collect standard analytics data such as session counts, device type, and error logs. This is used to improve app stability and performance.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.
Roster data (player names, positions, ratings) is entered by coaches and stored in your private Firestore account. This data is not shared publicly, is not used for advertising, and is accessible only by you and any co-coaches you invite by sharing your team's invite code within the app. We recommend using only first names or initials for players to minimize personal data stored.
PitchAssist is built on Google Firebase, which provides authentication, database, and hosting infrastructure. Google's privacy practices apply to data processed by Firebase. Please review Google's Privacy Policy for details.
Your data is retained for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us at pitchassist.app@gmail.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
We use Firebase's built-in security rules and Google authentication to protect your data. All data is transmitted over HTTPS. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no system is 100% secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
PitchAssist is operated by and for adult coaches. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Player roster data (first names, positions) is entered by adult coaches and is not data collected from children themselves. If you believe we have inadvertently collected information from a minor, please contact us immediately at pitchassist.app@gmail.com.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at pitchassist.app@gmail.com.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the effective date above. Continued use of PitchAssist after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
